Neighborhood Engagement Hub Invites Community Partners to Co-Create Events That Benefit Flint Neighborhoods
FLINT, Mich. — The Neighborhood Engagement Hub (NEH) is now actively seeking community partners to co-create workshops, training sessions, presentations, meetups, and other events designed to benefit Flint neighborhoods and residents.
This effort reflects NEH’s continued commitment to supporting community-driven engagement, neighborhood capacity building, and collaborative opportunities that strengthen Flint. By inviting partners to help shape meaningful programming, NEH aims to foster events that inform, connect, and empower residents while advancing positive neighborhood change across the city.
Organizations interested in partnering with NEH are encouraged to carefully review all form questions before applying. NEH notes that the application includes eligibility questions that may affect whether an organization should move forward with the form.
Through this collaborative events process, NEH is looking to work alongside organizations whose values and event goals align with its mission and standards for community-centered engagement.
“Collaboration is essential to building stronger neighborhoods,” said the NEH team. “We are excited to partner with organizations that want to create meaningful experiences, share resources, and provide opportunities that directly benefit Flint residents.”
NEH has also outlined important guidelines for prospective partners. The organization reserves the right to deny or cancel events that conflict with its internal standards. NEH does not permit events that promote discrimination, harm, or exclusion. In addition, personal or private events such as birthdays, graduations, and open houses are strictly prohibited through this opportunity.
Organizations that are not seeking a collaborative event and are only interested in using the NEH building as a venue for an event organized solely by their organization should instead inquire about building usage by filling out this form or emailing info@nehflint.org.
This new call for collaborative events is part of NEH’s broader work to support neighborhoods through shared learning, partnership, and practical community development resources.
