About
The Neighborhood Engagement Hub (NEH) began in 2014 when residents of Flint, Michigan, pushed for a new non-profit organization to support neighborhood groups and work with other community-based development organizations by building capacity and providing training and technical assistance. In 2022, NEH re-examined its mission, programming, identity, and operations. NEH adopted a new mission statement, created core values, and areas of focus. As of 2022, NEH identifies as a non-profit community development corporation (CDC) that serves the entirety of Flint. We currently work with over 30 neighborhood groups and community organizations by providing neighborhood project support (planning and implementation), printing/copy services, Community toolshed and mobile event kit access, fiduciary grant management, and collaborative workshops and training with our community partners.

Mission Statement:
The Neighborhood Engagement Hub is a catalyst for positive neighborhood change by supporting neighborhoods to become safe, healthy, and whole.

Our Core Values and Vision:
Strengthening Neighborhoods and Groups + Complete Neighborhoods + Building Local Wealth = Strong Neighborhoods
