Climate Resilient Flint

Climate Resilient Flint is a community-led climate literacy project by the Neighborhood Engagement Hub, the Environmental Transformation Movement of Flint, M.A.D.E. Institute, Kettering University, and the Genesee Conservation District.

Climate Resilient Flint’s mission is to bring resources and learning opportunities to Flint to:

  • Develop local awareness of climate change and how it will affect our community.

  • Support neighborhoods taking action to stay safe in rising summer temperatures.

  • Work with community members to begin identifying local climate adaptation needs.

Climate Resilient Flint is funded by the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration.
