To create an updated neighborhood association directory, we first consolidated 6 lists from community organizations such as the Neighborhood Engagement Hub (NEH), Flint Neighborhoods United (FNU), the City of Flint, and Keep Genesee County Beautiful, Ruth Mott Foundation, and Community Foundation of Greater Flint. We then called and emailed roughly 240 community members and asked each group for permission to include their personal contact information in the directory and Google Map. This information included their group name, primary and secondary contact (name, position, phone number, email address), social media, website, meeting date, meeting location, and neighborhood boundaries.
